Tatweer Research is a forward-looking organization that
aims to build the knowledge-based
economy in Libya. Owned by the Libyan Local Investment
& Development Fund, LLIDF,
Tatweer’s mission is to support the country’s stability
through economic diversification by
investing in various technologies, capacity building and development
programs.
Our work has been repeatedly recognized by a number of local and international entities,
including BBC World, UNDP, EU, Cambridge University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT) Pan-Arab, and many more. Furthermore, Tatweer Research is often subject to news and
analysis pieces in the world’s leading media.
Tatweer is based in Benghazi but has implemented
projects in 15 cities and towns all across
Libya. Our local footprint, combined with
world-class talent in the field of technology,
education, entrepreneurship and research &
development, allows us to deliver significant and
