MAKING READERS

At Tatweer Research, we are proud to partner with the Making Readers, an initiative led by a group of Libyan youth who are dedicated to fostering a love of reading among children. Over the years, we have been committed to providing a safe and stimulating environment for young minds to develop a passion for reading and learning.

Making Readers aim to encourage children to explore the world of literature, discover new authors and genres, and develop critical thinking skills.

Making Readers not only empowering children to develop these essential skills but also helping to revive and activate the role of libraries as vibrant hubs of community activity while celebrating Arab and Libyan identity through the rich literary heritage of our region.

AlFwayhat

In 2016, Tatweer Research supported TEDx Al-Fawahat, an initiative led by Libyan youth, to bring together renowned speakers and inspire change through engaging presentations. Our sponsorship featured talks by our team members on science, technology, culture, education, and art, held at Benghazi's iconic Children's Theater. We aimed to help young people create a stimulating environment that fostered creativity, connection, and inspiration among audience members.

Day

Following the success of TEDx Al-Fawahat, we proudly sponsored the TEDx Global Day event in Tripoli in 2018. The event aimed to ignite a sense of global citizenship among young minds, inspiring them to tackle the pressing challenges of sustainable development. The event featured thought-provoking discussions and debates led by esteemed leaders from international organizations, as well as interactive activities designed to foster creativity and collaboration.

Through this partnership, we sought to empower the next generation of innovators and change-makers, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to drive meaningful progress towards a more sustainable future.

Seedstars Logo

Tatweer Research supported and co-organized Libya's inaugural participation in Seedstars; an international competition that brings together visionary entrepreneurs and startup pioneers, providing a stage for them to showcase their innovative ventures and vie for a life-changing financial prize.

In 2018, our collaborative effort made history by hosting the first-ever Seedstars competition in Libya, sparking a wave of excitement and inspiration among the local startup community. The following year, we repeated this success by organizing the second edition in Tripoli, further solidifying Libya's presence on the global startup map.

FabLab

FabLab Libya Logo

We are proud of our support to Fablab Libya, which is dedicated to providing a free and inclusive environment for inventors, makers, and tinkerers to explore their ideas and bring them to life.

Tatweer Research has had the privilege of contributing to the groundbreaking 100 Engineers project, a pioneering initiative launched by Fablab in 2017. This program aimed to empower 100 young men and women - from secondary school students to recent graduates - with the fundamental skills of programming and electronics through hands-on training with the Arduino board. Our collaboration has enabled us to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers, equipping them with the tools and expertise needed to shape the future of Libya's technological landscape.
